I live with chronic migraines.
They don’t just bring pain—they bring pressure, overwhelm, and a deep longing to be held in a way this world rarely offers.
Over time, I’ve learned that what I need most in those moments isn’t to push through.
It’s not hustle or hiding.
It’s permission.
Permission to pause.
To soften.
To be human.
So I created something for myself—
a ritual to return to when the wave hits.
And if you’re someone who knows this pain, or holds it in another form…
maybe it can hold you too.
It’s called “When the Wave Comes.”
A gentle ritual for migraine and emotional overwhelm.
Not a fix.
Not a cure.
But a sacred way to say to yourself, “You are not alone. You are safe to rest.”

I have made a meditation for the ritual, let me know how it makes you feel. Does the music hurt your head? I made it during a migraine and this sound was the softest and didn’t spear my head like the other ones did.
And if you know someone who might need this—please pass it along.
You never know who’s waiting for permission.
With love,
Jenny
